BRIEF NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR ON AUTISM
written by: Jo Jo Blackburn
The thinking and learning abilities of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder can very from gifted to severely challenged.
The most common ones are Autistic Disorder and Asperger.
I believe the most important thing you can do is focus on the childs' strengths and build on them. I have used these across the board , no matter what the condition is, and it has worked so far. Take the time to sit and observe what the child is doing and how they are doing it.
